Frequently Asked Questions

Q:

My Thermostat is set to operate normally but it is not running or the Thermostat screen is blank?

A:

Simply exchange the batteries or you may have an emergency water shutoff situation. In other words, your drain is clogged. You can fix this yourself by sucking out the drain exit pipe outside with a wet-vac using a 1" hose for 10 minutes. If this doesn't work, call the Airman.

Q:

My A/C makes ice and there's no air coming out of the register.

A:

Simply change the Filter and set your Thermostat to the Off position & the Fan Button to the On position. This will thaw the ice quickly. If you still have ice forming after you thaw and restart, call the Airman.

Q:

How often should I have my A/C looked at?

A:

Only once a year, before the summer. Beware of the long term service agreements. Airman thoroughly inspects systems during Annual Checkups and will let you know if there is anything to be concerned about now or in the future. So call the Airman to schedule your Annual checkup. We Guarantee our Service Work for 30 Days.

Q:

If I need a new A/C, which Manufacturer & Installing Company should I choose?

A:

There are many brands of Air Conditioners out there, of course some are better than others, but mostly they are all the same. Same components, same kind of operating systems. Big names, mean big repair costs. Installation is key for a long lasting, worry free A/C. There's alot of companies out there who install them but only a few who get it right. Call the Airman....hmmm, problem solved.
